Introducing our new Featured Employer – Own Body Mobile Health Services

We are pleased to welcome Own Body Mobile Health Services as a new Featured Employer at Working Parents Connect!

Own Body is a team of mobile, highly qualified and reliable allied health professionals working across metropolitan Melbourne, regional Victoria, Brisbane, Sydney, Launceston and Hobart.  They work exclusively in the comfort and convenience of their clients’ homes, where they can best connect with their clients and provide a holistic service.

Fiona White founded the business in 2010 through a desire to help clients understand and maximise their own bodies’ potential, in their own space. Throughout her years working in gyms, hospitals, rehabilitation and community health, Fiona realised a need for personable, affordable and reliable in-home services for people unable to attend their local outpatient clinic. At the time, it was quite a unique service and in 2021 alone, they not only managed to survive COVID-19 but were able to thrive and provide over 21,000 services across Australia thanks to a unique and cohesive team culture!

Fiona (a working parent herself) won the 2019 Victorian Telstra Business Woman of the Year award and you can view her acceptance speech and why she’s so passionate about what they do here. With most of their senior staff members also parents, they not only understand the juggle, but also the struggles that come with being a working parent. They live, hire and thrive by their Core Values – CHEER (Connection, Holistic, Experience, Enablement & Remarkable People) and know that their team are their greatest asset.

If you’re an experienced Physiotherapist, Podiatrist or Occupational Therapist with a passion for connecting with clients and holistic care, you can learn more about Own Body and view/apply for their the current opportunities here.
