About the Role
You will be reporting to the Facility Manager and will be responsible for The Maintenance Officer/Trade Assistant, Plumbing position is responsible for providing plumbing and drainage repairs & maintenance to Palmerston North Hospital assets. The scope of plumbing works includes general repairs & preventative maintenance that does not require registration as a plumber (no fix and unfixing Sanitary work).
This role will deliver a high standard of work in line with company, contractual and legislative & safety procedures prescribed and agreed between Auckland Council and Ventia. Important within the context of this position is the requirement for the staff member to perform other duties, as may be required, to ensure all mandated services are delivered as per the scope of the Full Facilities Contract.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in Plumbing relater work, be a good communicator, and have the ability to work with people from all walks of life.
