About the role
Ventia is one of the largest essential services providers in Australia and New Zealand. We are a proud partner to the South Australian Government in the delivery of the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA), delivering facility and asset management to 49 Government Agencies.
We are currently seeking a Sustainability Adviser within our national Property Sustainability Services team, who will be dedicated to the delivery of sustainability services within the AGFMA, on a full-time basis, based in Adelaide.
Reporting to the National Sustainability Director the primary purpose of this role is to embed and uplift sustainability practices within Ventia’s AGFMA contract. This role will offer you a significant opportunity to amplify your impact, helping deliver sustainability outcomes across 49 Agencies in pursuit of the SA Government’s Net Zero emissions and waste targets.
The role will include working with Asset Management, Procurement, Project Management and Operational delivery teams, in addition to liaising with and training staff, subcontractors and relevant agency personnel.
About you
You will have;
Relevant training and qualifications in Environmental/Sustainability Studies, Science, Engineering and/or related discipline.
Experience in sustainability initiative identification and sustainability project management.
A sound understanding of industry Corporate Social Responsibility Frameworks and other Sustainability related legislation.
