About our client
As an industry leader, our client is an established and highly regarded property advisory firm. With over 100 Quantity Surveyors nationally, they work on a diverse range of projects across a broad range of industry sectors including Commercial, Workplace, Education, Health and Aged Care. Due to extensive growth across the business, they are now looking to hire multiple roles across Australia – including several Quantity Surveyors (and Senior Quantity Surveyors) in Sydney.
About the role
In addition to supporting the delivery of projects to a very high standard, the Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for ensuring that client contract requirements, company policies and processes are applied. The role will require comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of contract management, program financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation and administration. Using a combination of both strong technical and interpersonal skills, this role will assist in developing effective teams as well as relationships with staff, colleagues and clients.
About you
The successful candidate will be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (or relevant degree) with a minimum of 2-5 years experience in a similar role or industry (and candidates with experience in infrastructure, education or health will be highly regarded). You will consistently deliver exceptional client service and adhere to high quality assurance standards. With an innovative mindset, you will seek opportunities to enhance quality assurance systems and processes to ensure that all work is delivered to the highest standard. Experience working in a consultancy will be highly desirable as well as RICS/IQS accreditation (but is not essential). You will have advanced Microsoft Office skills and previous experience using CostX will be advantageous.
