The Operational Excellence Manager is a key position within the team that will support the identification of major productivity opportunities across the enterprise, designing multi-year and in-year programs of work and supporting the Operational Excellence Crew to deliver material cost out.
How will you add value?
The role identifies and prioritizes opportunities to reshape Medibank and how we work to deliver a leaner organisation, whilst improving or maintaining customer and employee experience, risk and cost-base. The role will involve leading diagnostics and coaching the wider team and uplifting capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
You have experience in enterprise-level multiyear productivity programs across value chains, in business or consulting. You have successfully led business improvement/transformation teams that have delivered tangible outcomes. You also have significant experience in financial, benefits tracking, business case and other quantitative analysis.
You have an enterprise mindset that considers opportunities with a 360-lens including customer experience, employee experience, cost pools and risk controls. You are a natural problem solver and can also challenge the status quo, develop and lead innovative solutions.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to create a compelling message, and the production of strategic and formal documents. You also have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in the health sector and understanding of private health including claims management and products is desirable but not essential for the role.
