An opportunity has opened up for an experienced case manager with exceptional conflict resolution skills, who is passionate about working within an exciting NFP.As the first point of contact, this role is responsible for the prompt and professional investigation and management of complaints, and the implementation of appropriate policies and procedures to establish a robust compliance framework and minimise risk.To be successful in this position you will bring strong collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Facilitating the timely resolution and management of volunteer complaints through using alternative dispute resolution techniques (including negotiation, conciliation and investigation)
Managing key stakeholders through the complaints management process
Liaising with Volunteer Branch Grievance Officers to provide advice, assistance and support
Providing conflict coaching and support to volunteers to encourage positive resolutions during disputes
Assisting both WIRES volunteers and Branch Grievances Officers with their roles and responsibilities
Providing guidance to the volunteers and branches in the preparation of necessary documentation.
Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders
Ensuring internal compliance and legislative needs of the organisation related to HR are met and communicated
The development, implementation and monitoring of appropriate policies and procedures to deliver a compliance framework and minimise risk through continuous improvement.
Report management, including monthly HR reporting and conflict resolution reporting.
About You
Relevant Tertiary qualifications in HR, Law, Dispute Resolution or related fields
Minimum 5+ years of practical experience in a similar role
A thorough and up-to-date working knowledge of all applicable legislation
Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
An excellent communicator, both written and verbally
