About the Contract

Ventia has secured the Victorian Road Maintenance Contracts for the Grampians and Eastern Metropolitan regions. Commencing 1 July 2026, Ventia will deliver comprehensive road maintenance, emergency response and minor capital works, reinforcing its role as a long‑term partner supporting safe and reliable road networks across Victoria.

Ventia’s Transport Infrastructure Solutions business is seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to join the team.

The SHEQ Manager provides leadership across safety, health, environment and quality functions, supporting consistent and compliant delivery of road maintenance and construction activities. The role plays a critical part in shaping safety culture and assurance across both field and office environments.

You will support leaders and operational teams with guidance, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a permanent full-time position and will be based out of our Dandenong office.

Role responsibilities:

• Lead safety, environmental and quality systems
• Support operational teams with SHEQ advice
• Drive assurance, auditing and continuous improvement

About You

To be successful in your application, you will have:

• Senior experience in SHEQ roles within infrastructure or construction
• Relevant safety or environmental qualifications
• White Card and driver’s licence.
• Good understanding of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
• Good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel
