About the Role
This is a hands-on SHEQ role working directly with delivery teams across live projects.
You’ll be out in the field driving safety, quality and environmental standards — not sitting behind a desk ticking boxes.
Venture Smart operates 24/7, so this role requires flexibility across shifts:
- Early starts (around 6:00am pre-starts)
- Evening / night shift coverage (pre-starts around 5:00pm)
- Very occasional call out on a weekend and travel across WA
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting crews to deliver safe, compliant, high-quality work
- Being visible in the field — coaching and influencing standards
- Supporting audits, inspections, and SHEQ requirements
- Assisting with incident investigations and driving learnings
- Identifying risks early and helping teams resolve them properly
- Contributing to continuous improvement across projects
What We’re Looking For

Essential
- Experience in construction, civil, electrical or similar environments
- Strong communication — able to influence, not just enforce
- Willingness to be hands-on and site-based
- Practical mindset — focused on solutions
Highly Desirable
- WHS qualifications
- Quality Qualifications
- Training & Assessing
- Experience with audits, ICAM investigations or compliance
- Exposure to infrastructure-style environments
