Project Lead

Find your further with Ventia in this new Project Lead role where you will be responsible for project management associated with the implementation of construction projects and programs within the Telco construction business stream. About the Role

You will work closely with the QLD / NT Telepower Project Management team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects end to end, safely, on time and within budget while meeting required quality standards and specifications. You must have the ability to travel regionally occasionally for project requirements. Duties include –

• Collaborating with the Telepower PMO for project execution
• Planning, scheduling and tracking
• Budget forecasts and cost estimating
• Act as the point of contact for subcontractors
• Supervision of high-risk activities on site
• Creating, reviewing and submitting methods of procedures for required projects
• Audits and inspection and undertaking critical control checks
• Overseeing site access, logistics for material procurement
• Project and progress reporting

Required Skills and Experience

You will have solid experience in project management and leading project teams with the ability to drive successful project outcomes including a strong safety culture. You are adept in problem solving and negotiating and a good communicator.

• Experience with
  • Electrical, Telepower, UPS systems, BESS or related fields
  • Electrical safety knowledge
  • Low level alarm configurations
• Mandatory qualifications

  • QLD electrical licence 
  • Construction white card
  • Drivers licence
• Highly regarded qualifications
  • Open communications licence
  • Emergency first aid / CPR / LVR
  • Working at heights
