About The Role
The main focus of this position is to oversee and managed a specific zone within the Ventia / Auckland Council Facilities Contract. Reporting to the Area Manager and leading a team of 50+ staff, this is a hands-on leadership role in a busy, environment. You’ll balance operational delivery with people leadership-driving performance, building capability, and maintaining a strong, resilient team culture.
This role requires a high level of emotional maturity, sound judgement, and the confidence to have honest, sometimes tough conversations to drive accountability and performance.

• Proven experience with machinery and equipment management
• Strong people leadership and relationship management skills
• A practical, solutions-focused mindset and calm approach under pressure
