About the Role

As a Marketing and Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for executing targeted marketing and business development activities that establish the Ventia Engineering and Professional Services team within the market and undertake opportunity development to support work pipeline growth.

Additionally, you’ll:

• Deliver targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives aligned to key sectors, customers and strategic priorities
• Undertake lead-generation and nurturing activities to build a pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Support early-stage opportunity development, positioning and transition into tendering
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop compelling, high-quality content, collateral and value propositions aligned with our strategy and capability
• Track and report on campaign performance and pipeline development and contribution to work-winning outcomes

About You

You are a proactive and commercially minded professional who thrives working at the intersection of marketing, business development and client engagement. You bring strong communication skills and the ability to drive outcomes through collaboration and influence, with a proactive, outcome-focused approach and the ablilty to connect market insight with real opportunities.

You have:

• Experience in marketing, business development or market activation within engineering, infrastructure or professional services environments
• Proven ability to deliver campaigns and generate qualified opportunities
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills and the ability to influence across technical and commercial teams
• Experience developing clear and compelling content, proposals and client-facing materials
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of pipeline development, opportunity lifecycle and work-winning processes
