If you’re passionate about customer service and enjoy creating positive experiences for people, this is an opportunity to join a supportive team delivering accommodation services at Bandiana Military Area as part of Ventia’s Defence Living and Working Services (LWS) contract.
The LWS contract delivers essential services that support Defence personnel where they live, work and train, including accommodation, hospitality, housekeeping and base support services.
In this role, you’ll play an important part in ensuring Defence personnel and authorised visitors are welcomed into clean, comfortable and well-managed accommodation facilities. Every day is different, with a mix of customer interaction, coordination and operational support that keeps the site running smoothly.
This role offers the best of both worlds, with a stable Monday to Friday roster and genuine work-life balance, while being part of a team that delivers essential services to the Australian Defence Force.

About the Role
As the Guest Services Agent you’ll be the key point of contact for accommodation services across the site, ensuring rooms are ready for occupancy, bookings are managed efficiently and customers receive a high standard of service.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating accommodation bookings, arrivals and departures
- Managing room allocations and occupancy records
- Conducting room inspections and maintaining accommodation standards
- Working closely with housekeeping teams to ensure room readiness
- Responding to customer enquiries and resolving accommodation-related issues
- Building strong relationships with Defence personnel and site stakeholders
- Maintaining accommodation records and reporting requirements
- Supporting quality, compliance and service delivery outcomes
About You
You enjoy working with people, take pride in delivering excellent customer service and can effectively manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Experience in customer service, reception, administration, hospitality or accommodation services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Experience using RMS or similar accommodation booking systems (desirable)
- Understanding of Defence environments or contracted service delivery (advantageous)
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Most importantly, you’ll be a team player who enjoys building positive relationships and delivering a great customer experience.
Requirements to be eligible for this role, you must:
- Be an Australian Citizen
- Successfully complete a National Police Check
- Successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment
- Be able to obtain and maintain Defence site access requirements
