The Role
Working within our N2P Telco team, we focus on improving the existing NBN infrastructure and making ultrafast speeds available to up to 75% of the existing fixed line footprint. As part of this contract, we currently have a great opportunity for a Field Supervisor to join our friendly and diverse team, based in Tasmania, Hobart area.
This role will be responsible in co-ordinating and directing multiple trade-based team personnel whilst supporting the project activities.
Key responsibilities will include, but not limited:
- Co-ordinate and direct civil and haul trades, in support of construction activities
- Monitor compliance and deliver construction activities to standards set by the client
- Demonstrate compliance to safety procedures
- Plan and scope activities to ensure site works are constructed efficiently and to budget
The Person
The successful applicant will be self-motivated, result driven and safety conscious with the ability to build and develop great working relationship within the project team. In addition, we are also looking for the following skills and experience:
- Experience within a Civil supervisory role
- Excellent Leadership skills
- High attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously
Requirements
- Qualification in a related field preferred.
- Trade qualification or relevant experience preferred.
