Electrical Design Engineer – Telecommunications

East Perth Hybrid working available

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our Critical Infrastructure – Telecommunications (Aura) team.

You’ll play a key role across the full project lifecycle, supporting the design and delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects within a multidisciplinary team environment.

This role is initially based full-time in our Perth CBD office, with flexibility available post-probation including up to 3 days working from home and the option to work from our Canning Vale office.

The Role

• Develop electrical designs (LV and DC systems)
• Prepare bill of quantities and cost estimates
• Interpret and work from CAD drawings
• Support construction teams during project delivery
• Maintain as-built drawings and project data

About You

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Experience as an Electrical Engineer or Designer
• Strong knowledge of low voltage and DC systems
• Experience preparing BOQs and cost estimates
• Confident interpreting technical/CAD drawings
• Advanced MS Excel skills

Desirable:

• Experience in telecommunications, infrastructure or renewables
• Understanding of Australian standards and compliance
• Exposure to Power Apps, MS Access or automation tools
• Knowledge of solar, battery or LV/HV systems

You’ll also hold a driver’s licence and be open to occasional travel.
