The Opportunity

As the Strategy Analyst embedded in our Strategy and Customer Proposition team, you will contribute to the development of strategies for the Customer & Portfolio division and Business Units and support the delivery of strategic initiatives, strategic planning and analysis. This a permanent full-time role which can be based in any of our offices or a combination of work from home and office.

How will you help?

Reporting to the Senior Strategy Manager you’ll support the team by:

• Formulating questions / problem statements for market and competitor research;
• Extracting insights / findings and confirming through stress testing and challenging interpretation of information and hypotheses;
• Supporting identification and assessment of strategic issues and opportunities through the development of a fact base from qualitative and quantitative analyses;
• Providing analytical support in evaluating, prioritising and developing responses to strategic issues and opportunities identified;
• Applying problem solving frameworks / approaches (including hypothesis driven approach) while performing wide range of qualitative and quantitative analysis;
• Supporting senior stakeholders and business units to meet corporate plan requirements.

About you

You have some experience in in analytics, economics, insights or another quantitative field either through your tertiary education and/or within a corporate environment. You thrive from solving problems, leveraging your strong critical thinking ability and creativity. Ideally you have experience in SQL and if not, be super keen to learn.

• Develop high impact written communications to tell a story and deliver succinct verbal communications to an executive level audience.

We’d love it if you have an understanding of Health or the Health Insurance industry, but if not, at least a passion to know more.
