Job Description

Your New Role

As an entry level role, we make sure to look after you so that you can build the career you’re after. We start off small and continue to expose you to greater challenges as you’re ready. You will be involved in assisting and supporting the Software Development team, with responsibilities including:

• Software design and development/prototyping and investigations
• Software coding and unit testing
• System integration and testing
• Software documentation
• Tools customisation and integration
• User interface design and development
• System release and deployment
• Debugging

Qualifications

About You and What You’ll Bring

What we’re after is a great attitude towards work, a pro-active approach with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve the business’s objectives.

You will also have:

• Good problem solving skills
• Experience with some relevant technologies and domains
• Demonstrated ability to produce consistently good results in a complex environment
• A baseline understanding of a broad range of skills including software, systems and enterprise architecture, software and hardware engineering, interface protocols
• Willingness to document and improve software development processes
• Will have experience of the .NET development environment as well as Java development.

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and be willing to obtain and hold a NV-1 or greater security clearance.
