Your new role
Join our Intelligence division on a Geospatial program supporting mission critical projects. As a Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with the Program Manager to drive outcomes forward across a range of ICT areas. You will lead members of the project team, both directly and indirectly, driving a high performing and engaged team culture. This role interfaces heavily with the customer, requiring strong stakeholder engagement, problem solving and a highly consultative approach.
This role will engage all areas of the typical project management toolkit, including scope management, budgeting, resource management, risk and issue management, benefits realisation and change management. You will be working with a geographically dispersed team with staff on-site with the customer, at home and in Leidos offices.
Due to the mission critical nature of this program, applicants must hold an active NV1 clearance. Opportunities to take on more work are available for those willing to go through the Positive Vetting process including a PA and interview.
You are a seasoned Senior Project Manager who has depth of technical knowledge across scope, schedule, risk, financial management and people management. You excel in challenging dynamic environments, in building trust with your customer and finding innovative solutions to problems. You have demonstrated experience in people leadership and project remediation of an in flight project.
Certifications in PMI or Prince II are essential.
Applicants will ideally hold a current NV1 Security Clearance.
