We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to lead a network discovery and migration program on behalf of a large Government agency. Leading a team of SME’s, you will be responsible for understanding a complex multi-network data centre topography and its interfaces with the organisation’s Wide Area Network and other agencies networks. You will provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture in addition to providing specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
You will maintain technical expertise in all areas of network hardware and software interconnection / interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. while also evaluating new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network. You will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills and will direct the various SME’s to deliver proscribed outcomes.
