Are you looking to start your career in IT? We are looking for a recent graduate or a final year student who is keen on building their career in the ever expanding and exciting field of Cloud.
The Junior Cloud Engineer will primarily work with the team on architecting and automating the implementation of Medibank applications on Public Clouds like AWS and GCP, ensuring the application environments are well architected, compliant with security standards, and incur minimum runtime costs.
Where you can add value
With the support and guidance of a senior team member;
You will have a basic understanding of cloud-based technologies and architectures, especially those provided in AWS, GCP or Azure. You will understand serverless and container technologies like Lambda, Docker, EKS, ECS, Fargate and best practice use from an operations and security perspective.
Ideally you will have had exposure to Terraform, Ansible, Cloudformation or similar technologies along with Strong Python and Linux Shell Scripting skills. You will be proficient in Git, CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins/Bamboo) and working in an Agile environment
