Sales & Customer Experience

So who are we? We’re Babybee, one of Australia’s leading online pram retailers. We help make #ParentLife less stressful, more stylish, more fun with baby products that are a breeze to use and very nice to look at (if we do say so ourselves). It’s an exciting time to be part of the Babybee team. We’re currently experiencing high growth, entering new product categories and expanding into new international markets.

The day-to-day

• You’ll be the first point of contact for our brands, assisting and converting inbound, pre-sale customers online via email, Messenger and live chat.
• Identifying opportunities to improve lead generation, our website, or sales resources.
• Identifying customer experience improvement opportunities.
• Provide world-class customer support via email, live-chat or social media – the kind they’re still talking about months later!
• Order administration.
• Running in-person product demonstrations in our new showroom.

About you

• You’re motivated by sales and results.
• You genuinely love working with customers and you thrive on making each customer’s experience truly amazing!
• Patience & empathy are two of your strongest traits and you have a genuine care for all customers.
• You have a strong work ethic, a willingness and ability to learn and get involved across all areas of the business.
• You are very attentive and have strong attention to detail.
• You’re tech-savvy and if you haven’t used a specific web-based platform or database previously, you’ll figure it out and be confident navigating your way around in no time.

Experience

• Exceptional written communication skills.
• 1+ years of sales or customer service experience.
• eCommerce or web platform experience ideal but not essential.
• Experience using web-based customer service platforms (such as Help Scout, Zen Desk or similar) advantageous.
• Experience working in operations, logistics or spare parts management also advantageous.

Role specifics

• Permanent, part-time position (school hours)
• The role is based on-site at our Yarraville head office, close to Yarraville station with 1 day working from home.
• Flexible or hybrid working arrangements are available for the right candidate.
• Salary and job description are negotiable based on experience.

Please note: we have an office Labradoodle so you will need to be happy with giving the occasional pat or having him sleep next to your desk!
